Honest Startup Shit

This is new and hard. Not "startup hard" where you're iterating on a proven model.

You might notice our About page, Features page, and most of our "company" content lives in the blog.

This isn't because we don't understand SEO or how websites are supposed to work.

It's because, in the words of Jesse Eisenberg in The Social Network: "We don't even know what it is yet. We don't know what it is."

We're building something new. Synthetic labor. AI employees that do real work in production. An operating system for cognitive compute.

This is new and hard. Not "startup hard" where you're iterating on a proven model. Hard like "we're inventing the category as we go" hard.

WAR STORY 1 - "In September, we thought we were 85% done. We told the customer it was ready. Then we discovered LLMs don't reliably follow deterministic workflows under load. We had to rebuild the entire execution engine to separate intelligence from execution during some steps. That architectural decision is now core to why we achieve 96.4% automation rates. But we didn't know we needed it until production taught us."

We know what it does. We've proven it works. But we're still figuring out what it becomes.

Our first customer's COO hired us not because of relationships or polished marketing. He hired us because when he looked at the market, no one else could fucking do it.

Everyone else was showing demos. We were the only ones who could ship it in production during Q4 and make it work.

WAR STORY 2 -  "November 1st, we flipped the switch. I personally approved every single dry-run operation for the first month. Hundreds per day. Because every approval decision taught me where the workflows broke. Every failed ticket showed me an edge case. If I'd delegated that, I would have lost the feedback loop that made the platform actually work."

I don't want some marketing agency coming in later to rewrite our history. To polish our narrative. To explain what we "always knew" we were building.

This is the real-time record. The thinking as it happens. The evolution from "we thought we were 85% done" to "we were wrong" to "now it works."

WAR STORY 3 - "Black Friday weekend. 2,400 tickets in 72 hours. I spent Thanksgiving watching logs and answering the tickets the AI couldn't handle. One of my developers missed Christmas with his family. That's what 'production-proven' actually means. Not that we built it carefully in staging. That we survived real load when it mattered."

So it stays in the blog. Raw. Unpolished. Dated. Authentic.

Maybe you'll know we've become a hardened company—no longer a startup—when /about goes live. When we've figured out exactly what this is and can explain it in clean corporate language.

Hopefully that never happens.

Because the companies that change industries don't start with a polished story. They start with a problem worth solving, a conviction it can be solved, and the willingness to figure it out in public.

That's where we are.

Everything is a blog post because we're still writing the story.
